Dripex 932 exercise bike is a high-end fitness unit with impressive features- a heart rate monitor, a small LCD display panel, infinite levels of adjustable resistance, a large bidirectional flywheel, a double-sided protective covering for safer riding, and an ultra-silent belt-drive transmission.

It weighs 24 kg and measures 40 x 21 x 40 inches. Riders between the height of 5’3″ and 6’5″ can use this bike for their cardio workouts.

As well as displaying your real-time stats, the small LCD digital display monitor shows distance, speed, calories, and pulse rate via the handle sensors- all of which enable you to track your progress easily. As long as you don’t weigh more than 149.6 kg, you should be able to ride this bike without problems. Thanks to its sturdy steel frame, pedals with an anti-slip textured surface, and adjustable toe cages, the bike feels stable and safe.

As if that’s not enough, Yoleo-Dripex takes safety to the next level by including an emergency stop brake; a tension knob pressed down in case of emergency. The Dripex 932 indoor cycle doesn’t disappoint in the comfort department either because the handlebars are adjustable two ways- up and down while the seat four ways- up, down, forward and back. Also, this bike measures 24 kg, but moving and relocating it is made easier with the transport wheels.

The ultra-silent belt drive and non-touch magnetic resistance ensure that the bike runs smoothly and quietly so you won’t be bothering other people every time you ride.

Dripex Upright Exercise Bike Review: Design

Assembly

The Dripex 932 Indoor Cycle comes with all the necessary tools and instructions for the installation. It is quite easy to assemble as all you need to do is screw in and tighten four bolts for the handles, four bolts for the feet and four bolts for the pedals. One thing to keep in mind is to screw in the left pedals counter-clockwise.

All in all,  it shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to put this bike together.

Frame and Construction

The bike looks sleek with its solid heavy-duty steel frame that features predominantly black anti-corrosive paint. It also looks secure with all the plastic coverings on the parts prone to cause an accident or injury. It appears very stable as well with its well-engineered base that features big oval-shaped steel stabiliser bars.

You can find adjustable levellers underneath the stabiliser bars to level up the bike on uneven surfaces. Sounds like a total steal, right?

The 6.4 kg flywheel provides decent momentum for a smooth ride and even allows high-intensity interval training. You can begin with slow pedalling and then switch to fast pedalling easily.

Seat

To ensure maximum comfort and safety, the seat of the bike has high-density foam and leather covering. This eight-level adjustable seat allow proper body positioning and prevent injuries.

If you find the seat not comfortable enough, you can get a gel bike seat cover to make it comfier.

Handlebars

What’s great about the handlebars is the six-way adjustment that supports the adjustability of the seat and its handgrip positions. You can adjust the handlebars to fit different heights of the whole family.

The handlebars are also integrated with EKG heart rate sensors so that you can keep track of your heart rate while working out. This feature is essential for maintaining your heart rate zone throughout the entire workout session.

Drive

The Dripex 932 indoor cycle features a belt drive system, which is a game-changer for any committed rider. This feature is responsible for why the bike runs smoothly and quietly, allowing you to work out without disturbing your family or flatmates.

The drive consists of a heavy-duty belt, a solid crankset, pedals, pulleys, and crank arms. What’s more, the drive is bidirectional, meaning the bike allows out-of-seat pedalling and lets you pedal in reverse.

An added benefit is that the belt drive doesn’t need maintenance as a chain drive system does. So if you want a bike that ensures smooth riding, doesn’t break down mid-ride, and allows you to save money on lubricants and adjustments, the Dripex exercise bike is for you.

Dripex Exercise Bike Performance

Bi-directional Flywheel

It goes without saying that any serious rider wants a bike that allows him to work hard to achieve his fitness goals. If this is you, you’ll be pleased with the Dripex 932 indoor cycle’s bidirectional flywheel. The 6.4 kg flywheel supports more momentum that challenges your workout sessions.

Additionally, the flywheel allows you to build on your previous workout sessions and improve your fitness.

Resistance

If you want to step up your training and maximise your gains, you’ll thank the bike’s limitless resistance.

The friction resistance system is adjustable so that you can easily adjust to the level that’s best suited for you, and target specific muscle groups. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced rider, there are always levels that match up to your needs best.

The bike offers resistance for climbing rides, cross-country, uphill, and acceleration. Simply twist the tension knob clockwise if you want to increase the resistance, and turn counterclockwise to decrease it.

Other Features of the Dripex Upright Exercise Bike

Console

The console of this bike has three navigational buttons along with a small LCD display that shows workout stats (time, distance, speed, calories, pulse rate). The ability to view your current stats keeps you motivated and focused throughout your session.

Although the LCD monitor is pretty basic and non-backlit, it still has good readability. We recommend that you position the bike in a well-lit environment so that you can see your stats clearly.

Furthermore, the LCD is powered by batteries, and it deactivates when you stop pedalling for a few minutes. The display screen activates again when you resume pedalling. If you’re looking for a bike that doesn’t need to be plugged into a power outlet, and is programmed to save the batteries’ power, the Dripex exercise bike is a great option.

Emergency Stop Brake

Safety is a clear priority with the inclusion of an emergency stop brake. If you need to end your session suddenly for some reason, this feature allows you to do so in a safe manner.

Adjustable Anti-Skid Cage Pedals

One of the things that stands out with this bike are the adjustable anti-skid cage pedals. Being comfortable and safe, these pedals let you concentrate on pedalling instead of worrying about your feet slipping off in the middle of the ride.

One thing to note is that these pedals accommodate standard gym shoes only.

Transport Wheels

This exercise bike is super easy to move around the house because of the built-in transport wheels. You don’t have to be Superman and carry this 24 kg bike. Just tilt and roll out the bike whenever you need to relocate it or store it away.

Dripex 932 Upright Exercise Bike Review: To Buy or Not to Buy?

Overall, the Dripex indoor cycle is an excellent option for anyone looking for a quiet, reliable bike without breaking the bank. It features a belt-drive system that is way quieter than its chain counterpart and is maintenance-free.

The bike’s steel frame and the lovely wide base give it a solid and sturdy feel while the double-sided protective covering makes the bike look sleek and attractive.

You have the option to choose your most comfortable riding position as the bike is customisable for riders of different heights and sizes. Also, the bike offers a variety of workout intensities that are suitable for all.

Unfortunately, the bike doesn’t have a tablet and water bottle holders, so you may need to purchase these accessories separately to ensure that you stay hydrated and follow fitness classes more efficiently.

Another area where the Dripex exercise bike falls short is the non-backlit monitor. Yes, the monitor could be better but this doesn’t mean that the bike will let you down. Despite being basic, the LCD digital display monitor provides all the key information needed to ensure improved physical fitness.

Finally, the bike has transport wheels, so you’re not limited to working out in certain areas around the house.

With all these impressive features, how can you resist? Get this bike and stay in shape or lose weight from your home!
